Following the recent raid and ousting of insurgents from the Sambisa forest, the Nigerian federal government has promised to reopen two major roads in Borno.
The roads that have been closed due to the insurgency and will now be opened are: Maiduguri-Gubio-Damasak road and the Maiduguri-Mungono-Baga road.
The Nigerian military reported the capture of several insurgents during the raid on Sambisa forest.
