Fathia Kareem, a 25-year-old Nigerian, has set a record for the most awards received at the School of Medical Sciences, Nkwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.
She claimed an enviable 12 out of 15 awards presented during the oath-swearing and induction ceremony for fresh doctors of the university last Saturday, according to The Punch.
The awards didn’t come as a surprise to the 25-year-old as she has studied incredibly hard to achieve the feat, though she didn’t expect that many awards. She gave a mix response when asked if she expected to claim so many awards: “Yes and No. Yes because I worked hard by studying, and no because I didn’t expect to receive so many awards”.
