Kano lawmaker Jibrin says Otedola should not have been embroiled in Canadian girls saga.
In series of tweets on Saturday, December 31, Jibrin wondered why nobody was asking how Otedola got entangled in the web weaved by the girls.
Reacting to the viral video of the girls, who are sisters, apologizing for extorting Otedola after being detained in Lagos state, Jibrin noted that the girls actions should not be the issue but the big question of how Otedola got caught in their deception when he was not supposed to move in the circle of such people.

The tweets have since been deleted.
Recall that the Canadian sisters did a video admitting to being the owners of a damaging website, NaijaGistLive.com and apologized to Femi Otedola and his family and also other petitioners they had written damaging stories about.
In an earlier tweet, Jibrin also hinted that Senate president Bukola Saraki may have finally found favour with President Muhammadu Buhari after working hard for it for so long.
In the tweet on Saturday, Jibrin noted that Saraki appears to have dethroned his (Jibrin’s) own leader as a member of the House of Representatives, Speaker Yakubu Dogara in the president’s inner circle.
Although he did not reveal what exactly prompted his words, Jibrin tweeted the words just after the presidency denied reports alleging that President Buhari had removed acting EFCC chairman Ibrahim Magu.

BREAKING: EFCC ‘arrests’ Bala Mohammed again

Report reaching Naij.com has it that former FCT minister Bala Mohammed has allegedly been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
BREAKING: EFCC ‘arrests’ Bala Mohammed again
According to Daily Post, Mohammed’s arrest may not be unconnected with the controversial N1trillion land swap deal carried out between 2010 and 2015.
The EFCC had earlier seized at least 12 properties from Mohammed and his son, Shamsudeen Bala.
The seizures were said to be part of the ongoing investigations into a controversial land swap deal carried out by the minister to the tune of N1tn between 2010 and 2015.
As at the time of filing this report, Mohammed's arrest could not be confirmed by EFCC's spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren.
Recall that the former minister just recently regained his freedom after was detained by the EFCC on Monday, October 24 after reporting at the Abuja headquarters of the anti-corruption body.

Garba Shehu, the spokesman of President Muhammadu Buhari in a series of tweets on Saturday, December 31, said,” no report has been made available to the Presidency by the Attorney General of the federation over the matter.”
The Guardian newspaper had earlier reported that Magu had been removed as the EFCC chairman following the attorney-general of the federation (AGF) and minister of justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) submitting a report of his investigations into allegations against the EFCC boss to the president.
Magu had allegedly been redeployed back to Nigerian Police Force (NPF) to pave way for a new person to be presented by President Muhammadu Buhari as the nominee to head the anti-graft agency before the Senate.

Girl responds harshly to boyfriend who tried to show her love

How would you feel if your lover does this after you openly declared your love for them?
A young man just suffered what might be the worst humiliation of his life after his girlfriend publicly 'denied' him after he shared a love up photo of them.
Sharing the photo below, the guy had gushed about his girlfriend, saying how special she was to him and how he loves her so much, but the young lady had replied with "Kindly delete".
Girl responds harshly to boyfriend who tried to show her love
Na wa oo! How would you react?

This baby was born without a nose, but with a strong heart and beautiful smile!

There are times when nature surprises us and allows us to get to know truly extraordinary people, who show us the extent of human will power to live and enjoy life.
One of those people is Eli Thompson, a baby from Alabama who surprised everyone when he was born. Eli was born completely healthy but with a tiny problem: he had no nose.
Eli1
The doctors were just as surprised as his mother, Brandi McGlathery, about Eli’s condition, which occurs in 1 out of every 197 million people and is known as arrinia or congenital arhinia.
Eli2
In fact, Eli’s only problem is a lack of nostrils since he has the corresponding nasal cavities. At 5 days old he had a tracheotomy that was needed to help him breathe more easily, and will continue to have reconstructive surgery to help relieve his nasal cavities and have his own nose.
Eli3
Yes, Eli and his mom have gone through some setbacks regarding his health, but Eli recovers quickly and is a very happy and healthy boy. A true example showing us that we don’t need to be like everybody else to be happy or beautiful.

After several efforts to find the back of the net, a Rwandan striker discovered that a charm was placed at the opponent’s goal post which was hindering his side from finding the back of the net.
In the video, the footballer was seen being chased by the goalkeeper and team members as he tried to give the charm to his team members on the sideline. He scored just immediately after detecting and removing the charm.

The Rwandan Football Federation have amended local regulations making it illegal for players to "show suspicions of witchcraft.
It has decided to fine any player seen to take part in witchcraft, with a 100,000 Rwandan Francs fine equivalent to around N57,000. If a club has been involved they will lose three points and face a fine of 2.9million RWF (about N1.6m).
Vedasite Kayiranga, vice president of the Rwanda FA said: “In FERWAFA (Federation of Rwanda Football Association) statutes we don’t have any law punishing the use of witchcraft because there is nowhere in the world where it has been proven that it can influence the outcome of a game.
"However, with the violence between players because of allegations that one team is using it, we have decided to enact laws.”
Jimmy Mulisa, former Rwandan international added: “It is sad that we still have such beliefs in our football, it does not only give a bad image to the country but kills football development.
"I think [the FA] should take serious measures against such behaviour. Personally, I don’t believe in it, and I had to cut short my playing career because many teams I played for believed in witchcraft which I didn’t.”
The game between Mukura Victory and Rayon Sports ended 1-1. See video below:

4 things Nigerians will definitely do at your wedding

If you are thinking of planning a Nigerian-themed wedding, then you had better settle down here and see the things you should be expecting on your big day.
4 things Nigerians will definitely do at your wedding
Happy couple
Nigerians are by default, interesting sets of people that you honestly cannot get enough of. They are kind, humorous and loving people who know how to enjoy life and enjoy it to the fullest. Weddings are a major highlight of our existence as we find it difficult to stay put without creating a joyous occasion where everyone celebrates.
If you are a Nigerian who live home, you will be able to relate with some of the things that will be mentioned here. No matter the situation, we are always proud of our nationality and give kudos to ourselves when we see other people 'slacking' in areas that we dare not carry last.
There are certain things that are exclusive to us in this part of the world. These things have become our ways of life and are considered to be part of the things that make us. Before we delve into the things you are bound to see at your wedding if you invite basically Nigerians, we would give you a word of warning.
Please, if you know you are not ready for any form of drama, keep your wedding party to yourself. Do not bother inviting anyone or better still, make it an indoor thing without neighbours knowing what you are up to. But if you cannot take this option, abeg, let us help you make your wedding party a beautiful one.
Find below some of the things Nigerians will definitely do at your wedding:
1. Spray money
4 things Nigerians will definitely do at your wedding
Grooving women
Do not think we are hungry people that depend on your wedding party for any thing. As a matter of fact, we love spending big when we attend parties as we cannot help displaying and letting people know that we are the real deal.
We bring in money in suitcases and Ghana-must-go bags. If there are competitors who want to show off for one reason or the other, we show them we are mouthed.
To that effect, Nigerians will show up looking all glam at your wedding and spray you so much money you will physically have to step on the notes.
And in cases where your rich guests are dons, they may come with a money sprayer or throw you the notes in packs. Yes, we are bad like that!
2. Compete with other guests
4 things Nigerians will definitely do at your wedding
Yimu (open beef)
Nigerians simply cannot keep calm at parties. You will notice people whose main objective is to outshine you as the celebrant with the clothes they wear.
Wedding parties particularly are not the kind of event you dress shabbily to. People put on a 'you cannot be as fine as me' attitude and make sure they rock your party for you.
Also, you will have a hard time driving people away as some people would have made up their minds to spend the entire day with you. Wanna know why? It is time to repay you for attending other people's parties and staying till the event is over.
3. Hustle for food and souvenirs
4 things Nigerians will definitely do at your wedding
Eating time
Honestly, we have food in our houses! But as much as we want to celebrate with you, do not bother bringing us out of our houses if you are hell bent on starving us.
The food served at parties have a unique taste and that is why we will always strive to have party jollof-rice. If you attend a Nigerian party and do not taste the food served, you have not been to the party.
Another thing that may disorient you wherever you sit as the host is the struggle for souvenirs. Even the 'tush' people around have a way of demanding for souvenirs from the sharers.
It does not matter whether you are sharing plastic buckets or ceramic cups, we simply want something to remember the couples with.
4. Dance like there is no tomorrow
4 things Nigerians will definitely do at your wedding
Nigerians dancing at a party
Do you know how many things Nigerians face and put up with everyday? We bet you don't! A party is the perfect time to do exercise, get rid of stress, unwind, catch up and get new ideas. Nigerians simply dance away their sorrows and live for the moment at parties.
Depending on how coordinated your event is, you will meet people who will cheer you up with their dance steps and become the Michael Jackson of the occasion.
If you want to remain the main focus of the party, then watch out for people like that if you do not want them to steal your show.

Goodness! These things will happen to you if you ever eat 3 eggs in a day

Contrary to the wide spread thought about not consuming more than one egg in a day, we have found new claims which does not support this.
Goodness! These things will happen to you if you ever eat 3 eggs in a day
Eating more than 3 eggs per day
Eating more than 2 eggs in a day has more benefits than you can imagine. Health experts often warn about the intake of more than one egg in a day because of cholesterol. The truth is that most of the foods we consume on a daily basis contain cholesterol just like eggs.
According to health experts, when foods that contain cholesterol are being eaten, the liver adjusts in such a way that its production is reduced. Taking more than 2 eggs does not necessarily increase the existing amount of cholesterol in your body.
Consuming whole eggs has wonderful benefits; the yoke is filled with numerous nutrients which are highly beneficial to the body. The egg yolk contains more than half of the calcium and iron contained in the whole egg. The egg white on the other hand contains about half of the total protein contained in the egg.
Find below some of the things that will happen to your body if you eat more eggs:
1. Assists in weight loss
Eating eggs with toast is recommended for those who are interested in losing weight. Having this for breakfast when working on your diet and weight is better as it is highly filling. The satiety index recorded in eating this is higher than what is being obtained in the consumption of cereals.
2. Improves vision and the eye health
Consuming more eggs have the ability to prevent cataracts and retina degeneration. Most times, these are the causes of blindness in older people.
Eggs in addition to the consumption of spinach will help improve eyesight in the elderly. Eggs contain antioxidants and numerous nutrients that will help the body function well.
They contain lutein, zeaxanthin and carotenoid vitamins that support good vision and eye health. The presence of carotenoid limits the effect of sunlight on the eyes.
3. A rich source of iron
Iron is the carrier of oxygen in the blood. It is also useful for boosting the immune system and for energy metabolism.
The iron found in eggs in easy to absorb in addition to it being more usable. This iron exists in the form of heme iron and is good for the body; the body can get the needed amount of iron faster than when iron supplements are being taken.
Those who suffer from a deficiency of iron can eat more eggs in order to get the required amount of iron. The moment you start to have headaches and become irritated, you should eat more eggs.
4. Improves the adequacy of diets
Food eaten with eggs are usually more palatable than when they are eaten alone.
Most of the foods eaten can become balanced diet when eggs are being added to them. Those who do not eat eggs may not get as much vitamins as those who eat eggs regularly.
5. A rich source of protein
Since most of the foods eaten are basically carbohydrates, adding eggs to our diet can improve our health status. Eggs are rich sources of proteins which are highly important for the formation and repair of old and worn out tissues in the body.
Unlike carbohydrates, proteins cannot be stored in the body, thus, eating eggs regularly will supply the body with enough proteins.
An average size of egg contains about the same amount of protein contained in a 30g cooked meat. Egg proteins are the best in addition to the eggs being affordable.
6. Protection of bones
Eggs contain calcium which is very good for bone health. An appreciable amount of vitamin D can be gotten in eggs. This vitamin is good for the absorption of calcium. This means that osteoporosis can be prevented if more eggs are eaten.
Also, the health of your hair and nails gets improved when eggs are being added to your diet, This translates into faster growing hair and nails.regular basis.
7. It helps improve the brain health
Ever wondered why nursing mothers prefer feeding their babies with eggs the moment they start to eat? It is because eggs contain choline; a nutrient that helps improve the development of the brain in fetus and new born babies.
This nutrient improves memory retention in kids as well as in adults. Eating more eggs during pregnancy is good for your unborn child as it contributes to memory retention.
See the video below to see how many eggs you can eat in a day:
