Kano lawmaker Jibrin says Otedola should not have been embroiled in Canadian girls saga.
In series of tweets on Saturday, December 31, Jibrin wondered why nobody was asking how Otedola got entangled in the web weaved by the girls.
Reacting to the viral video of the girls, who are sisters, apologizing for extorting Otedola after being detained in Lagos state, Jibrin noted that the girls actions should not be the issue but the big question of how Otedola got caught in their deception when he was not supposed to move in the circle of such people.

The tweets have since been deleted.
Recall that the Canadian sisters did a video admitting to being the owners of a damaging website, NaijaGistLive.com and apologized to Femi Otedola and his family and also other petitioners they had written damaging stories about.
In an earlier tweet, Jibrin also hinted that Senate president Bukola Saraki may have finally found favour with President Muhammadu Buhari after working hard for it for so long.
In the tweet on Saturday, Jibrin noted that Saraki appears to have dethroned his (Jibrin’s) own leader as a member of the House of Representatives, Speaker Yakubu Dogara in the president’s inner circle.
Although he did not reveal what exactly prompted his words, Jibrin tweeted the words just after the presidency denied reports alleging that President Buhari had removed acting EFCC chairman Ibrahim Magu.

According to Daily Post, Mohammed’s arrest may not be unconnected with the controversial N1trillion land swap deal carried out between 2010 and 2015.
The EFCC had earlier seized at least 12 properties from Mohammed and his son, Shamsudeen Bala.
The seizures were said to be part of the ongoing investigations into a controversial land swap deal carried out by the minister to the tune of N1tn between 2010 and 2015.
As at the time of filing this report, Mohammed's arrest could not be confirmed by EFCC's spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren.
Recall that the former minister just recently regained his freedom after was detained by the EFCC on Monday, October 24 after reporting at the Abuja headquarters of the anti-corruption body.

Garba Shehu, the spokesman of President Muhammadu Buhari in a series of tweets on Saturday, December 31, said,” no report has been made available to the Presidency by the Attorney General of the federation over the matter.”
The Guardian newspaper had earlier reported that Magu had been removed as the EFCC chairman following the attorney-general of the federation (AGF) and minister of justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) submitting a report of his investigations into allegations against the EFCC boss to the president.
Magu had allegedly been redeployed back to Nigerian Police Force (NPF) to pave way for a new person to be presented by President Muhammadu Buhari as the nominee to head the anti-graft agency before the Senate.
